Thus these are not archival but compressor/packaging softwares. But this MOVE can be done without compressing/packaging. You can - and should - move the package to another device where it is safe and THIS would be archiving it. Files 'archived' with these softwares can be wiped out by a simple virus if the package is on the same computer. None of the listed softwares provide this. One of the key point of an archive is PRESERVATION.
